Pattie Lovett-Reid is Chief Financial Commentator at HomeEquity Bank and a longtime financial services and media professional with more than 30 years of experience. Her career began in banking and grew to include serving as Senior Vice-President at TD Waterhouse, followed by a move into journalism. She became Chief Financial Commentator at CTV News, where she helped Canadians make sense of personal finance, investing and the economy.
Today, Pattie brings that experience to her work at HomeEquity Bank and to her writing and commentary. Her areas of interest include financial and retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, practice management, equity markets and economics. She is also the author of Life Makes Cents with Pattie Lovett-Reid, her Substack publication, where she writes about money, work and the choices that shape our financial lives.
