The service spans public and private assets, ownership structures, and geographies for UHNW clients
Scotia Wealth Management announced Scotia Global Intelligence on October 6, a service giving ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients in Canada a view of their entire portfolio regardless of where assets are held.
The offering combines institutional investment expertise, portfolio intelligence and reporting, and strategic insights, according to the Scotiabank release announcing the launch.
The release states the service establishes a new standard for integrated UHNW service in Canada.
It sits alongside Scotia Wealth Management's existing UHNW suite, which the release describes as covering a comprehensive suite of family office services, business transition and succession planning, governance advisory, trust and estate expertise, intergenerational wealth transfer strategies, and private banking solutions.
Scotiabank integrated Scotia Global Intelligence into its offering for ultra-high-net-worth clients, Jacqui Allard, group head, global wealth management and insurance at Scotiabank, said in the release.
The service is designed around their "individual needs and objectives," Allard said, and supports portfolio decisions.
Scotiabank says delivery runs through its Chief Investment Office team, whose investment and alternative capabilities in Canada were recognized in the 2026 Euromoney Private Banking Awards.
Clients reach the service through Total Wealth, the firm's customized advisory and institutional access platform, per the same release.
Two external relationships support the service, Scotiabank said.
Marsh brings consulting capabilities and approximately $16.2tn in assets under advisement, while Addepar supplies a global data and artificial intelligence platform.
The release says the combination delivers insights across portfolios spanning public and private assets, ownership structures, and geographies.
According to the Scotiabank release, Todd Nelson, Canada leader, Marsh investments and retirement, said the relationship aims to "expand insights" and access to private market solutions.
Nelson said Marsh will bring its global alternatives experience and private markets expertise to support the needs of Scotia Wealth Management clients.
Peter O'Brien, chief revenue officer of Addepar, said in the release that ultra-high-net-worth investors need "intelligence they can act on."
O'Brien said Addepar is working with Scotia Wealth Management on a platform with "real-time clarity across an investor's entire financial picture."
Addepar states that more than 1,500 firms across 60 countries use its platform to manage and advise on nearly $10tn in assets, with 650 software, data, and consulting partners integrated into it.
Scotiabank reported assets of approximately $1.5tn as at July 31.
